Tactical Footwork / Movement

Tactical Footwork provides a systematic framework for developing movement for functional knifework. The course examines stationary positioning and five primary forms of footwork: pivoting, linear, diagonal, circular, lateral, and vertical movement.

Each form is developed through fighting, practicing, and training applications, allowing practitioners to understand not only how the movement works, but how to develop and apply it under increasingly functional conditions.

The course also examines how different forms of footwork create different positional and tactical advantages, providing practitioners with a broader and more adaptable movement capability.
